Leslie Knope - In Progress Portrait Painting by Sam Spratt
Since “Pixel-face Magoo”s disguise fooled all of… none of you, Here’s her, Amy Poehler aka Leslie Knope—unmasked (and unfinished). It’s been very fun pouring over every little feature in her face while watching Parks and Rec, trying to nuance her anatomy and expression to meet somewhere between a full-on portrait and something more caricature-ish and “animated”. This portion makes up about 1/4 of the full portrait and has no background elements yet—rest assured it will be LITTERED with easter eggs and references just like my Swanson portrait. For fans of the show, let me know what sort of subtle imagery/objects you might like to see hidden throughout.
